Three sleeps!

I am going to a wedding in Sydney this weekend. I'll be away for THREE nights which is the longest I've ever been away from the kids. I am so excited to be going on this little adventure!

Here are the instructions I've left for Mr. 3x3:

***

Saturday

Spinner has cricket from 8.30 to 9.30am. He must wear his school uniform.

Willow has acquatic physiotherapy at 10.45am but needs 5 minutes to change so get there by 10.40am. She needs bathers, goggles and towel. She needs a snack and drink afterwards (it is hard work in the pool!)

Monday

Spinner has piano and needs to pack his piano books the night before – also make sure he has done his piano theory!

Willow has sport and needs to wear her sport uniform to school (with white socks and sneakers).

They both need to have their school hats in their bags (no hat, no play!) and their communication folders/diaries/readers etc.

Poppet needs 4 nappies and a change of clothes (all named) in her back pack.

Lunch Boxes

Willow needs 2 honey sandwiches (with crusts cut off) in the little plastic bags that don't ziploc (too hard to open) and one packet of tiny teddies. She also needs a separate snack packed in her snack box (Jatz and sultanas). She also needs a water bottle.

Spinner needs a sandwich, two pieces of fruit and a packet of sakatas (or similar). He needs a water bottle (clear plastic or he won't be able to take it into class).

Leave by 8.25am at the latest or the traffic is unbearable! Drop Spinner off on W street (watch him walk in the school gates) then take the back streets to get to Willow’s school. Parking is usually easy on B Street. You'll need to walk her to her classroom. She will need some prompts to get out her water, morning snack and communication folder and take them into class.

Poppet is now in the W room at childcare and you need to remember to sign her in. Her teachers are T and C.

Have fun!

I'm going to enjoy this weekend away :)

That's so cute! You're going to have a great time and the kids will be in wonderful hands. I bet they'll have a blast without you. (No offense) My kids did when I went to Paris last year. They're still talking about it! heh

Have a fantastic time; I'm sure they'll all be fine.... and your husband will discover 'the joys' of single parenting.

I leave notes like this when I'm going out for a night, oh dear...time to shift some responsibility over at my house. How was your weekend away? Maybe you're still there - not wanting to come and all.
